This small collection features daily ware made in Singapore, as I continue to explore the styles of kohiki (white slip), hai-yuu (ash glazes), and yakishime (unglazed) in my work. Most of my work are semi-glazed.

Each piece reflects my ongoing interest in bringing what I have learnt from my stints in Japan into the modern life, balancing a clean and refined look with organic and natural forms.

Collection: Bizen

Bizen is located in Okayama Prefecture, Japan and it is one of the six ancient kiln site of Japan. Bizen-style firing typically takes about a week, during which the process naturally creates variations in colour and texture, with unique patterns formed by ash deposits and flame exposure.
