Care Instructions

Handmade pieces are inherently different from commercially produced ceramics, and thus care needs to be taken to ensure they continue to serve you well in your everyday life.

• Handwash your pieces after every use with mild soap and water and ensure that they are dry before storing them.
• Some pieces may start to stain naturally over time; this is normal and is a characteristic of crackle glazes. Avoid dark/strong liquids if you do not wish for them to stain.
• Due to the nature of the clay I use, microwaving is not recommended. Do not heat them in an oven or under direct fire. Avoid thermal shocks by not pouring boiling water in a cold cup and vice versa as this may fracture the pieces after prolonged use.
